Martin McLaughlin (Frazer)

Business & Technical Development Manager

Together with James and Patrick, Martin is one of the leaders of the company. He has been with us for over 10 years and has been instrumental in helping Welditz grow to what it is today.  Martin liaises directly with our clients to ensure their requirements have been completely factored into any solution.  He has 12 years 3D CAD and FEA experience with 6 years of laser profiling experience. He studied Mechanical Engineering at DIT.

Patrick Nelson

Workshop Operations Manager 

Together with James and Martin, Patrick is one of the leaders of the company. He has been with us for over 16 years and is highly skilled & experienced in all areas of metal fabrication.  He has been instrumental in helping Welditz grow to what it is today.  Patrick is in charge of our three workshops.  He has a keen eye for detail and ensures our quality standard is achieved on all products leaving the premises.  

Pat Cassidy

Master Toolmaker and Machinist

Pat spent 30+ years working in the aerospace industry where dimensional tolerances are very tight - working to those tolerances has become part of Pat’s DNA.

Pat was one the initial metalwork students who was taught by our late father, Jimmy Cuddihy, who inspired him to make a career in metalworking. Pat is one of those fortunate men that still has that youthful passion for beautiful metal solutions. And we’re delighted to have him as part of our team.

Aleks

Lead Fabricator/Welder

Aleks has been with us now just over two years. He brings 15+ welding and fabricating experience to the team. Alec has a strong creative eye and loves to make a well made product.

Martin McDaid

Laser Cutting manager

Martin has been with us for about 2 years now and his interests in 3D modelling and his hobby of CNC machining translate well into his enjoyment of working with a precision laser cutter.

He holds a Bachelor (Hons) degree in Industrial Design.

Enda Cullen

Lead Fabricator/Welder

Enda joined us 3 years ago, having worked in various roles in Northern Ireland. Not only is Enda a former rugby player, but he is one of the most obliging men in the county! We’re delighted he’s onboard.

Conan McLucas

Design Intern

Conan has recently joined our Design team as an intern. He is currently studying for Bsc in Product design. He has 5 years 3D CAD experience. We look forward to learning about the latest college thinking but also sharing with him real life business experiences.

Maureen Cuddihy

Director

Joined the family business in 2018. She has over 25+ years international marketing experience, including 12 years running her own consultancy business.

She holds a Bsc(Applied Physics and Electronics) and completed a post grad in Fibre Optic engineering.
