Our design team have over 50 years combined industry experience, they use industry standard techniques and tools for both CAD and CAM stage of our project. Our aim to realise true ‘art to part’ reducing cost and lead times as as much possible without compromising on quality.
During the CAD stage of your project, we will create detailed engineering-level drawings of how you expect the part to look and how it should be constructed. This will include details such a dimensions, materials, fasteners and anything else of relevance in terms of the item’s manufacture. You will be invited to sign-off on this stage before we move into the next stage.
During the CAM stage of your project, we will take the agreed designed files and turn them into sheet metal parts; applying the correct shrinkages and creating the appropriate programmes needed to profile and press them into shape.
Where clients have established designs, we can take your 3D models in a variety of formats and utilise this information to produce the sheet metal components, reducing the machine programming time dramatically. Jigs and fixtures that are required for assemblies can be designed and developed in-house directly from 3D models which ensures that the parts will be right – first time, every time.
